The Radiant Church was one of the most influential organizations in the Yulan Continent. It was ultimately annihilated by Linley Baruch and his allies.

Prior to the Apocalypse Day, they are primarily situated inside the Holy Union, though they have established a foothold in the other regions like the Anarchic Lands and the O'Brien Empire.
Background[]
The Radiant Church is a branch organization of the mighty Augusta Clan from the Divine Light Plane. The Augusta Clan has the habit of establishing a branch organization in many of the Material Planes in order to let them procure pure souls that, when offered to the Augusta Clan, will be able to become Angels. The Radiant Church is ultimately destroyed by Linley, seeking revenge for his mother being offered to the Augusta Clan[1].
Organization[]
Being such a large organization, the Radiant Church has many branches with each their own region of operation.
Other than the main branch headed by the Holy Emperor, they have two secondary branches, the Ecclesiastical Tribunal with its Ascetics and Executors, and the Knights of the Radiant Temple, like the eight ace knight regiments. They also have two secret forces: the Zealots and the Descended Angels. Every branch worships the Radiant Sovereign.
The main branch of the church has a strict hierarchy:
- The Holy Emperor
- Cardinals
- Vicars
- Bishops
- Priests
- Missionaries
The Knights are their elite guards, they mainly stay in the Holy Capital and the Temple to protect from intruders.
The Ascetics are their military force, each of them being very strong, while the Executors act covertly, focusing on secret operations like assassinations. These forces accept anyone willing to follow the search, including dark magi.
Their most powerful force is the Angels, who can theoretically reach Peak Saint and beyond, but need powerful human bodies to possess. The church searches warriors with strong bodies and gives them to angels, who can exhibit limited but impressive prowess.
Overall, the Radiant Church has about 5 Peak Saints in its ranks and many Rank 9 Warriors. It is around as strong as the Cult of Shadows.
